The Master Coat® P160 is an advanced dual-layer powder coating machine that assembles screws and washers and applies both primer and topcoat in one continuous process. With an industry-leading capacity of up to 550 parts per minute, it delivers enhanced corrosion resistance and long-lasting protection. The machine accommodates screws from Ø4.2 × 19 mm to Ø6.3 × 100 mm and washers from Ø10 mm to Ø16 mm.
The P160 model combines all process stages in one machine:
- orientation of fasteners and washers using vibratory bowl feeders
- washer assembly where applicable
- application of the primer coating
- partial curing and cooling of the primer
- application of the powder topcoat
- final curing in a controlled oven
- cooling and automatic unloading
The machine is controlled from an operator’s panel consisting of a touchscreen and physical buttons for the most frequently used functions. The Master Coat® assembly units use vacuum technology, allowing them to handle fasteners made from all materials while minimizing the risk of damage, such as bent screws.
The P160 applies a primer coat, partially cures it in the first oven and cools the fasteners before applying the topcoat. The final coating is then cured in the second oven, creating a durable dual-layer finish with enhanced corrosion resistance. Both ovens use long-lasting electrical resistance heaters, while curing time and temperature can be easily adjusted by the operator.
Master Coat® P160 can be ordered with additions such as:
- tooling sets for different fastener shapes and sizes
- a second powder coating set to shorten time between switching colours
- a counting and packaging unit
